Wow!!! Where to begin? My head is exploding with information that I want to share with you on how you can live a healthier and happier lifestyle.
First of all, welcome to my first blog post! My hope is that I will be able to continually provide you with fresh, exciting and useful fitness and nutritional information that will help you to begin to change your life and keep you coming back for more. YOU are the reason I am doing this!
I have spent many years in the gym working out, trying to stay fit and pushing myself to new limits. I love it! There is nothing like setting goals, challenging yourself, straining towards those goals and then achieving them…except being able to help others do the same thing!!!
I spend most of my time in the gym working one-on-one with clients and the rewards are amazing. It is an incredible experience to watch my clients physically change before my very eyes and to know that these changes are making them happier and healthier. It is also a blast to be there when they have those “aha” moments as they finally “get it” as with a particular exercise movement or understanding what it feels like to isolate a particular muscle within a certain exercise. Witnessing the transformation of a confused, hopeless, frustrated and clueless client into one that is confident, knowledgeable, goal centered and driven goes way beyond words. Those once frightened and tentative followers are turning into experienced and confident leaders.
This is why I train!
My blogging intention is to give it to you straight! My posts won’t be filled with the latest miracle methods, wonder foods or those simple steps to achieving massive muscle size! I’ll leave that to those who are interested in making a buck by preying on our weaknesses with sensationalism and who are willing to twist the truth. For those of you that know me, you know that I have no problem being blunt and to the point. And that is how it will be here!
The truth is, becoming better at anything takes work…and lots of it. Consistent, disciplined, hard work! And no matter where you are today in your fitness journey, you can become a better you! I am here to help. Together, let’s work on changing behaviors, getting rid of old bad habits and creating new good habits. It’s time to quit with all of the easy plans, fad diets, fat loss gimmicks and secret formulas that don't deliver what they promise and it is time to begin a lifestyle...a healthy lifestyle! Let's get started!
To health and happiness,
Mark
